Frequently Asked Questions

Sizing Details
I currently make 4 different sizes of children’s bedding. The corresponding sizes are listed below. If your set needs to be adjusted from the dimensions below, please leave me a note at checkout.
Mattress Size Average Mattress Depth Quilt size
Bassinet (oval) 15 x 30 2” 20 x 20
Mini Crib 24 x 38 1-4” 30 x 30
Standard Crib 28 x 52 4” 36 x 42
Toddler Bed 28 x 52 4” 40 x 60
We can create cradle and rectangular bassinet bedding as well, just simply email us at info@lullabyelanding.com with the measurements of your mattress (size and depth). In most cases, the pricing will be identical to the bassinet pricing. However, if you do not specify the dimensions and shape of your mattress, an oval set will be prepared. Toddler quilts are made slightly larger to accommodate easy tucking in on sides and the bottom.
Coupons, Sales, and Clearances
Lullabye Landing issues coupons to clients who send us pictures of their nurseries featuring the bedding they have purchased from us. While we rarely have “sales”, sometimes pieces or bedding collections are put into the clearance section. These items are made with the same quality fabrics and attention to detail found in all our sets. When we retire a design or have items remaining from a discontinued fabric collection, we discount the price and pass along the savings to you. All clearance sales are final.
Care Instructions
Care is taken in choosing fabrics that are of high quality and will withstand multiple washings, after all they are for babies. That being said, adhering to these care instructions will significantly increase the longevity and desired look of your bedding. Sheets and crib skirts are made of 100% cotton that has been prewashed to minimize shrinkage. These items can be machine washed in warm water and tumble dried on LOW heat setting. Iron as needed. Quilts and blankets can be machine washed in cold water, but we recommend you hang or laying flat to dry. If your quilt has a minky or sherpa back, DO NOT use fabric softners and DO NOT iron. These types of fabric distort easily with heat, and can even melt under a medium iron. Air drying will keep the item soft and fresh for many years. Crib Bumpers and Rail Covers should be spot cleaned and hand washed, so as to not distort the padding. Air drying these items is also highly recommended to keep their shape. Care instructions specific to your bedding will be provided with your shipped order.
Refund Policy: Readymade vs Custom vs Personalized Orders
Any item in my shop that is purchased "as pictured" and is not altered in any way prior to the sale is considered Readymade (not considered a custom order). All readymade items (quilt or bedding set) will qualify for a refund in the following circumstances:
  • Items arrive damaged / stained
  • Irrepairable flaw
Pictures of defects must be sent to service@lullabyelanding.com within 48 hours of receiving your package. Custom orders include the following examples:
  • Personalized items
  • Readymade items that have been altered to satisfy a desire made by the client. (Eg. Wanting a green ruffle on a skirt, instead of the existing pink one)
  • Complete custom orders, where the client has picked both fabrics and styles for their unique order. (Refunds or replacements will be made in the rare situation that I have made in error in the production of your set that contradicts written instructions / agreements.)
While I do not accept returns on custom orders, I will stand behind the quality of my work. Please contact me if you have any concerns. I will repair or replace any item that is defective if returned within 7 days of receiving the item. There are no returns due to color, so please request swatches if you are concerned about the colors. (These costs will be credited back to you against your first order.)
